Bona Fide Café

On January 21, 2021, Bona Fide Café was introduced as a coordinated fundraising initiative by Faith Academy, Michelle Gordanier, and her son Luke (who is diagnosed with Autism and ADHD). The simple on-site snack bar for students and staff was designed to support a necessary enrichment program for students.

Faith Academy established the Gratiam Pro Omnibus school for the 2022-23 school year. An in-school, full-time enrichment program for students with varied learning abilities. The teachers for these classes are passionate professionals who are certified intervention specialists.

The venture began with a need, a vision, faith, and a few snacks offered at lunchtime. In just one year, Bona Fide Café has grown to offer students and teachers a variety of breakfast and lunch items that directly fund the enrichment program. Gratiam Pro Omnibus classes currently serve more than 35 students.

We praise God for filling a relevant need and for providing willing souls to serve our students and staff in this compacity.

The scriptural basis of the Bona Fide Café is Colossians 2:7, “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” (NLT)
