The Story
The Well was founded in 2025 by Stevie Warren, a devoted mother to her son Will, who has Down syndrome. Faced with limited educational options for children with special needs, Stevie was inspired to take action. Partnering with Faith Academy, she helped launch a Christ-centered, nurturing, and functional learning environment tailored to children with exceptionalities.
The Well exists as a response to that need: a place where students are not only supported academically but loved wholly, just as they are. Our prayer is that The Well would spark a wave of change, locally and nationally, by offering families a Christ-filled, inclusive, and individualized education rooted in hope and purpose.
The Vision
At The Well, we envision a Christ-centered community where children with special needs are fully known, deeply loved, and equipped to thrive. Anchored in Proverbs 2, we are raising a generation marked by wisdom, purpose, and unwavering faith — young lives ready to walk in truth, shine with grace, and reflect the heart of God.
We pursue this vision by weaving biblical truth into every part of the learning journey, nurturing both faith and academic growth. Each student receives personalized instruction that honors their unique strengths, needs, and pace. Within a safe and loving environment, children are seen, supported, and empowered to flourish. We work closely with families, caregivers, and the local church to surround every child with spiritual and emotional care. And through opportunities like the arts, sports, skill-building, chapel, and field trips, we cultivate joy, confidence, and real-world readiness.
