The 2023-2024 School year is Mrs. Dean's first year teaching the sixth grade although, she has been teaching first-grade students at Faith Academy since 2021.

With more than 13 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Dean holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University.

Mrs. Dean joined Faith Academy to be surrounded by God's grace in the classroom. She counts it as a blessing to work with such lovely Christian teachers and families.

 Mrs. Dean believes in the importance of students being taught from a Christian worldview and being protected from many secular topics that have become commonplace in public schools.

​

Her desire is to impact the lives of students by inspiring them to find a love for learning at an early age. She believes that when children find joy in reading, curiosity in science, or satisfaction in solving math equations, it creates powerful internal motivation. With a LOVE of learning, students are more willing to work hard and be persistent, even when lessons get tougher. Students need a strong foundation which later learning can build upon.
