Mrs. Kennedy Brewer

First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Brewer began teaching at Faith Academy in 2023. She looks forward to the experience of faith-based teaching in classical Christian composition. She has a passion for teaching, coaching, and being involved in ministry. She loves that at Faith Academy, she can show the love of Christ to students and openly discuss her relationship with Jesus.

Mrs. Brewer majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Christian Spiritual Formation/Ministry at Friends University. She is finishing her last year at Wichita State University and will graduate in May 2024 with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education classes for the primary grades.

Although this is Mrs. Brewer's first year teaching, she has worked for the Goddard School District as a Paraprofessional for K-1.

Mrs. Brewer is newlywed to her husband, Asher.

Her hobbies include running, weightlifting, being outside, and reading. She also enjoys coffee dates and spending time with her husband.

Mrs. Brewer has two Bible verses she considers life verses and one for this school year.

Acts 20:24, "But I do not account my life of any value, nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." and Proverbs 31:30, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." (Her verse for this school year) Acts 26:17b-18, "To whom I am sending you to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me."

Mrs. Brewer’s ambition is to be a palpable reflection of the Lord Jesus. Glorifying God through her marriage, and one day raising her own children to love Jesus.

While at Faith Academy, she aims to educate students for academic success and to be leaders while encouraging them to live set apart for Christ. She aspires to be a living testimony to the authenticity of love and life being greater and more abundant with Jesus.
