Mrs. Kimberly Wenzel has been involved with Faith Academy since 2016. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, K-12 art, etiquette, chapel, and as a substitute teacher.

Mrs. Wenzel has spent much of the last two decades involved in children’s ministry at church and community outreach groups such as Campus Kids' Ministries. Before becoming full-time at Faith Academy, she served as the Kids' Ministry Director at West Evangelical Free Church.

She is originally from Butler, in western Pennsylvania. She has called Wichita her home since 2002, when she and her husband Robert, who also teaches at Faith Academy, moved here only two weeks after their wedding.

Mrs. Wenzel is a kid at heart. She loves animals, collecting toys, coloring, and taking a ride in her Jeep with Mr. Wenzel. She has five cats named Chester, Katy Purry, Mr. Snickers, Miss Kitty, and Henrietta Pussycat. She has two dogs named Cookie Monster and Milo. Her favorite place in the world is Anna Maria Island, in Florida.
